Role Overview
The Technical Coordinator Architecture will be responsible for coordinating and managing all architectural technical aspects of luxury villas and residential property projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure design intent is preserved technical documentation is accurate and coordination between design engineering and construction teams is seamless.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Coordination
- Review architectural drawings shop drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate architectural design with structural MEP and other disciplines to achieve integrated project delivery.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction resolving technical queries and discrepancies.
Project Delivery & Documentation
- Manage technical submittals approvals and documentation processes.
- Monitor project progress and ensure architectural deliverables meet quality safety and schedule requirements.
- Provide technical support to site teams during execution and commissioning phases.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to UAE building codes international standards and client specifications.
- Implement quality assurance and control procedures for architectural coordination activities.
- Maintain transparent reporting and documentation in line with project governance frameworks.
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify and mitigate risks related to architectural design and coordination.
- Resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Contribute to value engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Team Collaboration & Development
- Work closely with architects engineers project managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth coordination.
- Support junior staff with technical guidance and professional development.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages accountability and innovation.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in architectural technical coordination roles within Design & Build contracting construction or residential development organizations.
- Strong expertise in luxury villa and residential property projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit/BIM) and project management platforms.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE regulations international standards and sustainable design practices.
- Strong communication coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project-driven environment with a focus on financial discipline and transparency.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field; Masters degree or professional certification preferred.
