Role Summary

ClearGrid is redefining how debt resolution works across banking fintech and BNPL ecosystems. We are looking for a senior leader to own our end-to-end collections & recoveries strategy; covering banking portfolios non-banking portfolios and fintech partners.

The Head of Collections will build a world-class function modernize traditional collections and integrate AI-driven and data-driven methodologies into daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Own the collections & recoveries strategy across early mid and late-stage delinquency for banking and non-banking portfolios.

• Define and track core KPIs including cure rates roll rates DPD performance cost-to-collect and forecast accuracy.

• Drive a digital data-led collections approach ensuring all decisions and workflows are grounded in analytics and segmentation.
  

Operational Excellence

• Build and manage a high-performing multi-country collections function.

• Implement segmentation strategies automated workflows and predictive models in collaboration with Data Growth and Product.

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory contractual and ethical standards including data privacy consumer protection and fair collection practices across all operating markets.

• Oversee quality control dispute resolution agent performance and vendor/outsourcing partners.

• Lead strategic negotiations with partner banks lenders BNPL platforms and external agencies.
  

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with Product Engineering Data Legal Finance and Operations.

• Translate portfolio insights into product improvements and automation opportunities.

• Champion ClearGrids values performance culture and ethical recovery standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• 812 years in collections recoveries or credit risk across UAE/KSA.

• Demonstrated ability to scale multi-country teams and lead managers.

• Understanding of data governance certifications UAE Central Bank SAMA KSA Regulations an advantage.

• Strong stakeholder management with banks partners and regulators.

• Deep analytical capability; comfortable with dashboards models and portfolio forecasting.

• Arabic preferred; English required.
