A leading manufacturer and supplier of high-performance field instruments and solar-integrated solutions for oil & gas petrochemical and industrial applications is seeking a Production & Service Engineer Instrumentation. The role involves after-sales technical support troubleshooting and ensuring high customer satisfaction through in-house support and on-site visits.
Material Availability Check
Verify the availability of raw materials upon receiving new orders.
Coordinate with Purchase and Sales teams when materials are unavailable and provide expected timelines.
Material Receipt & Verification
Verify received materials against the Purchase Order (PO) and Sales Order (SO).
Inform the Quality Control (QC) team to begin testing of incoming materials.
Quality Testing Support
Assist the QC team during tests such as hydro testing when required.
Certificate Verification & Preparation
Review supplier certificates for compliance with order specifications.
Prepare internal certificates as per customer or product requirements.
Coordinate with the Design team for technical documentation or clarifications.
Handover & Dispatch Coordination
Handover approved materials to Stores for packing.
Coordinate with Logistics to ensure timely dispatch.
Customer Complaint Handling
Serve as the first point of contact for service-related issues.
Log track and follow complaints through to closure.
Work with production and QC teams for root cause analysis.
Technical Support
Provide remote troubleshooting via phone email or video call.
Assist customers with installation calibration and commissioning.
Ensure timely communication and resolution.
On-Site Service & Repair
Visit client sites across UAE and GCC as needed.
Perform inspection testing servicing and replacement of faulty instruments.
Submit site visit reports and follow-up recommendations.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of service cases corrective actions and root causes.
Provide feedback for continuous improvement initiatives.
Support documentation for audits and compliance requirements.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate with Design QC and Sales teams to resolve recurring issues.
Guide customers on preventive maintenance and best practices.
4 years of experience in field service technical support or instrumentation maintenance
Strong practical knowledge of:
Pressure Temperature Level and Flow instruments
Calibration and diagnostics of analog instruments
Instrument installation and fittings
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel within UAE & GCC
Ability to read datasheets wiring diagrams and loop drawings
Experience working with end-users
Basic knowledge of ISO/IEC calibration standards
Familiarity with MS Office and basic CRM tools
