About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned and imaginative Senior English Copywriter with a proven ability to craft powerful compelling copy for a variety of channels from digital campaigns and social media to print and video. The successful candidate will lead the conceptual development of creative campaigns define brand voice and mentor junior writers while ensuring every piece of copy resonates with the brands strategy and audience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop high-impact strategic and creative copy across channels: social media web email video scripts brochures digital ads landing pages and integrated campaigns.
Interpret creative briefs and translate them into persuasive and clear messaging headlines taglines and storytelling.
Collaborate closely with Art Directors Designers Account Teams and Planners to ideate and execute campaign concepts.
Lead and mentor junior copywriters: review their work provide feedback guide tone of voice and support their creative growth.
Conduct research on clients business their markets audience insights and industry trends to deliver relevant and culturally resonant copy.
Edit proofread and polish copy to ensure clarity accuracy and consistency in tone grammar and messaging.
Present and defend creative ideas copy campaign concepts and drafts to internal teams and clients.
Stay updated on emerging media digital communication trends platform UX and content strategies to keep campaigns fresh and effective.
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice GDPR or regional compliance (if applicable) and internal quality standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in English Communications Journalism Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional copywriting experience preferably in a creative agency brand marketing or advertising environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking storytelling campaign work social content long-form and short copy.
Excellent command of English grammar tone style and the ability to write across different formats.
Proven experience mentoring or managing more junior writers.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment; skilled in multiple projects at once.
Proficiency in presentation tools (PowerPoint / Google Slides) and basic knowledge of content management or collaboration tools.
Creative curious and self-motivated with a passion for crafting memorable brand stories.
