Project Manager EPC (Site-Based Position)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of EPC projects from FEED through detailed engineering procurement construction commissioning and final handover.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering procurement construction and HSE professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
- Serve as the primary interface with clients subcontractors regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Ensure strict compliance with local regulations company standards and specific project requirements.
- Oversee project budgets monitor cost forecasts and implement effective cost control measures.
- Develop and maintain project schedules proactively identifying and addressing potential delays and risks.
- Provide strategic leadership in resolving technical challenges and engineering issues.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project status reports progress updates and risk assessments to senior management and clients.
- Implement robust quality assurance and HSE management systems throughout all project phases.
- Champion innovation and drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies.
Technical Expertise Required
- Extensive knowledge of EPC project phases and execution methodologies.
- Strong expertise across engineering disciplines: process mechanical piping civil/structural instrumentation and electrical.
- Proficient in project planning tools (e.g. Primavera P6 MS Project) and cost control software (e.g. SAP EcoSys).
- Well-versed in international codes and standards relevant to EPC projects.
- Experienced in advanced procurement systems and material tracking processes.
- Skilled in construction sequencing modularisation and commissioning strategies.
- Adept at project risk assessment and mitigation planning.
- Competent in contract management claims analysis and change order negotiations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering (Mechanical Chemical or related field).
- PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- 1825 years of relevant experience with at least 10 years in project management roles overseeing large-scale EPC projects within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
