Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule lead and document coordination meetings with precast subcontractors consultants and site teams.
- Review and approve precast shop drawings method statements lifting schemes and QA/QC documentation.
- Monitor production delivery and installation progress against the master programme; issue look-ahead reports and identify mitigation plans.
- Resolve technical RFIs related to structural connections tolerances and interface issues.
- Liaise with design consultants to address discrepancies between IFC drawings and precast fabrication drawings.
- Conduct inspections at precast yards and on-site for reinforcement mould preparation concrete quality curing and dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with project specifications UAE local authority regulations (e.g. ADM DM) and international codes (ACI BS EN).
- Maintain accurate logs for submittals approvals NCRs and material deliveries.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to senior management and the client.
- Verify precast quantities and support the Quantity Surveyor in reviewing subcontractor interim payments.
- Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize precast design in terms of cost and schedule.
- Enforce HSE standards during precast lifting transport and installation activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture with a commitment to zero incidents.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of total experience in civil/structural engineering with at least 4 years in the UAE/GCC specifically with contracting companies.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating precast concrete works.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and precast QA/QC procedures.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Revit or Tekla (for shop drawing review) MS Project / Primavera and Microsoft Office tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
