As a Senior Technical Architect -Hospitality reporting into the Lead Technical Architect -Hospitality and Design Manager - Hospitality working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai

The Senior Technical Architect plays a pivotal role in leading the technical development of architectural projects ensuring compliance with design intent authority standards and constructability. Reporting to the Lead Technical Architect this role requires expertise in coordinating with stakeholders mentoring teams and maintaining high-quality technical documentation throughout all design stages.

Responsibilities include

Lead the technical development of projects across all design stages focusing on authority submissions and compliance
Review and approve detailed design drawings ensuring technical accuracy quality and constructability
Coordinate technical aspects with consultants contractors and internal teams to resolve design and construction challenges effectively.
Ensure all technical documentation adheres to local authority codes standards and international best practices
Demonstrate knowledge of major international codes (e.g. IBC NFPA ASHRAE) to guide technical compliance
Manage and mentor technical design teams to achieve project objectives while fostering professional growth
Conduct regular reviews to maintain design quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with the Lead Technical Architect to align with project targets and design compliance requirements.
Safeguard the design intent ensuring the final technical output aligns with the original creative vision.
Handle local authority submissions including compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations

Educational Qualification:

Bachelors or Masters degree in architecture or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 8-15 Years

Role Specific Qualifications & Training:

Certification in BIM workflows preferred
Dubai Municipality Registrationpreferred

Computer and Software Proficiency

Revit
AutoCAD
Navisworks
Bim360
Adobe Suite
Office Suite
