This opportunity is part of AECOMs Fursa Program and open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a valid family book.
AECOM are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to be based in Abu Dhabi. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing goods and services negotiating contracts and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing to support organizational operations. This role plays a key part in optimizing supply chain efficiency maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.
Responsibilities:
- Identify procurement needs across departments.
- Conduct market research to find reliable suppliers and compare offers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Ensure all procured items meet quality and specification standards.
- Track procurement KPIs and generate performance reports.
- Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.
- Resolve supplier issues including delivery delays and product discrepancies.
- Collaborate with finance legal and operations teams to align procurement with company goals.
- Implement risk management strategies for supply contracts.
- Stay informed on market trends and pricing dynamics.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
- 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of procurement laws regulations and best practices.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Eligibility: As part of AECOMs commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
