Roles and Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs within automobile assembly lines focusing on cycle time reduction and waste elimination.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to production equipment including robotics PLCs and automated systems ensuring minimal downtime.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen events and Six Sigma projects to drive operational excellence.
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules and capacity plans considering factors like material availability labor resources and equipment capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design quality and maintenance to ensure seamless integration of new products and processes.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis of production defects and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence improving product quality.
Oversee the implementation of new technologies and automation systems in the production environment staying abreast of industry advancements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards within the production facility promoting a safe working environment.
Prepare and present regular performance reports analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement.
Train and mentor production staff on new processes equipment and safety procedures fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possess a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
Have at least 5-7 years of experience in production engineering within the automotive industry demonstrating a strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
Demonstrate a proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Exhibit proficiency in using CAD software simulation tools and other engineering software relevant to automotive production.
Possess strong knowledge of automotive assembly processes including stamping welding painting and final assembly.
Be familiar with quality control systems and methodologies such as Six Sigma and statistical process control (SPC).
Have excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide production teams.
Be proficient in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Show a proactive and results-oriented approach with a strong commitment to achieving production targets and deadlines.
