Position: IT Technician Company Overview: Star Services LLC is a leading IT solutions provider offering a wide range of services to businesses of all sizes. Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for this role you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients troubleshooting and resolving IT issues and maintaining our clients IT systems. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support to clients via phone email and in-person - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues - Install configure and maintain computer systems networks and peripherals - Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues - Perform routine maintenance and updates on computer systems - Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions - Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place and functioning effectively - Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement new technology solutions - Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the IT industry - Document all support activities and maintain accurate records - Provide training and support to clients on new technology systems and software Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role - Strong knowledge of computer systems networks and peripherals - Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems - Familiarity with network protocols and troubleshooting techniques - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies - Certifications such as CompTIA A Network or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Professional development opportunities - A dynamic and collaborative work environment - Opportunities for career growth and advancement If you are a dedicated and driven IT professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career we encourage you to apply for this position.
