As an Senior Assembly Technician level 1 you will be assisting the Flow Controls Business Unit manufacture products to conform with specifications procedure and certification requirements as stated in the Quality Management System. This includes assembly and testing inspection of valves. This role does not limit only to assembly but also will include complex problem solving and reporting team with daily activities thinking out of the box. You will be responsible to support Technicians liaise a with Supervisors & Operational team members such as Master Production Schedulers Customer Service QA/QC Logistics and Operations Management and Customers.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Leading 5S & Safety practices and activities
- Skilled in Complex assembly and testing of valves and actuators
- Competent in using MS Office and Oracle applications and Valve Test Report recording
- Must be proficient in operation of test benches for both Hydrostatic and Seat leak testing as per FCI 70-2
- Responsible for updating tool requirements repair and calibration requirements.
- Advanced Knowledge and experience in digital and analog positioner/Instrument calibration
- Ability to perform certified welding operations
- Carryout special testing Oxygen Service Cleaning assembly & Testing CV test and HP Test
- Perform Standard Customer/Third Party inspections
- Knowledge transfer and Assembly best practices to co -workers to increase production throughput.
- Integration and calibration of buyout pneumatic operated actuators
- Adhere to Health Safety & Environment policies as laid by the organization.
Who You Are
For This Role You Will Need:
- Have a technical diploma or equivalent experience of Craftmanship training
- Have minimum of 10 years experience knowledge of complex valve manufacturing assembly and testing processes.
- Basic Rigger Level 1 Training
- Overhead Crane Operator Certification
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Section IX ASME Boiler and Pressure vessel code
- Forklift Operator License
- Preventive Maintenance
- Control Valve Manufacture Training
