ملخص الوظيفة
We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join our offshore project engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in piping systems materials engineering and layout development with hands-on experience in offshore projects preferably with Saudi Aramco.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and perform piping design and engineering for offshore oil & gas facilities ensuring compliance with client specifications industry standards (ASME API ANSI) and Saudi Aramco requirements.
- Conduct pipe stress analysis material selection and technical bid evaluations for piping components.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) piping layout drawings isometrics and MTOs.
- Provide engineering support during design procurement fabrication and offshore installation phases.
- Coordinate closely with layout process structural and instrumentation teams to optimize routing and ensure multidisciplinary integration.
- Review vendor documentation and ensure alignment with project specifications and offshore installation requirements.
- Participate in client meetings design reviews and HAZOP/HAZID workshops.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in piping engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.
- Proven expertise in materials engineering pipe specs and layout design.
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling and layout tools (e.g. PDMS E3D or similar).
- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and offshore design practices is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of corrosion-resistant materials offshore installation constraints and safety design principles.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
