Job Title: Junior Occupational Hygienist / Industrial Hygienist
Location: Abu Dhabi UAE
Experience Required: 12 years
Key Qualifications
- Masters in Industrial Hygiene
OR - Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical preferred) / . in Fire Safety / Diploma in Industrial Safety / PDIS
- If applying with these qualifications completion of at least 12 BOHS or OHTA modules is mandatory.
Certifications
- BOHS / OHTA modules preferred for all mandatory if not holding a Masters in Industrial Hygiene.
Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with IH monitoring equipment (noise dosimeters sound level meters pumps detectors etc.).
- Knowledge of exposure monitoring occupational health risk assessments and control measures.
- Strong analytical and technical report writing skills.
- Previous consultancy experience is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits (minimum 10 days per month) for exposure monitoring and assessments.
- Support senior hygienists in qualitative and quantitative risk assessments.
- Perform monitoring for noise chemicals dust and physical agents.
- Assist in interpreting results and preparing professional reports.
- Ensure compliance with local and international occupational health standards.
- Participate in client discussions and on-site surveys.
