About the Role
We are seeking a well-rounded tax specialist who can support in managing group tax compliance and reporting across all Moove geographies. The role will cover preparation of tax returns and reporting in some jurisdictions along with oversight and governance of tax compliance for all jurisdictions. The individual will help develop best practices for compliance and reporting across the group liaising internally and also externally with third-party advisors.
What Youll be Doing
The role exists to ensure Moove is in compliance with tax obligations across the group in all relevant countries.
Critical outcomes for the next 612 months include:
Implement a tax compliance governance tool.
Fully up to date group-wide tax compliance status overview with regular management reporting process established.
Centralised compliance data/ information.
Core Responsibilities:
Manage group tax compliance governance and maintain the compliance repository/tool.
Oversee group tax reporting (consolidation) and ensure timely submissions.
Coordinate with local finance/tax teams on compliance obligations and deadlines.
Manage Dutch/HQ tax compliance and reporting.
Oversee US tax reporting aspects (e.g. CTB elections).
Implement a tax compliance governance tool and centralize compliance data.
Establish regular management reporting processes for group-wide tax compliance status.
Liase with third party advisors on tax matters.
What You will need for this position
At least 3-4 years of post qualification experience in tax compliance (corporate income tax value-added tax withholding tax etc.) in a fast-paced industry.
Working knowledge of finance and accounting topics.
Demonstrated thorough user and working knowledge of tax systems.
Excellent coordination monitoring and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent research skills coupled with great written and verbal communication skills are a must including the ability to communicate with non-tax people on complex tax issues.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with aggressive timelines.
Creative thinking to resolve novel tax problems while supporting the business.

100% visibility of all tax compliance submissions across the group.
100% tax compliance with returns under direct responsibility.
Tax consolidated disclosures delivered on time.
