Job Summary (in List Format):
- Role: Airport Operations Systems Lead responsible for end-to-end management of airport technology systems.
- Primary Focus: Implementation integration and operational management of mission-critical airport systems across terminal airfield and baggage domains.
- Strategic Planning: Lead system design and deployment to support terminal operations (check-in boarding gates) airfield management (AODB resource management surveillance) and baggage handling (BHS BRS).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams external consultants and solution providers to ensure timely high-quality system delivery aligned with airport goals.
- Operations Oversight: Ensure 24/7 system reliability develop SOPs incident response protocols and business continuity strategies.
- Technology Leadership: Drive AI machine learning and predictive analytics initiatives to optimize decision-making passenger flows and resource allocation.
- Digital Transformation: Introduce automation cloud-based solutions and intelligent systems; ensure system interoperability and cybersecurity compliance.
- Project Management: Oversee documentation testing training coordination and manage vendor relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead lifecycle upgrades migrations ORAT and digital commissioning practices.
- Qualifications Required: Bachelors (preferably Masters) in Engineering IT or Aviation Management; 7-10 years experience (5-7 relevant) in aviation technology leadership; expertise in airport systems (terminal airfield baggage); experience with AI/ML solutions.
- Skills: Strong project and vendor management cross-functional leadership analytical problem-solving familiarity with aviation standards (IATA ICAO ACI) proficiency in English (Arabic a plus).
