Senior Designer - Fire & Gas

What You Will do

The Fire & Gas Designer is a key role reporting to Design Manager for Middle East Region. The job position will be based in Abu Dhabi UAE and you will be part of Design Team and responsible for supporting for driving the growth of business for Fire & Gas System / Fire Protection Design across MEA Region.

The Job Requires you to support the Design team on Fire Protection & Detection project Design for Oil & Gas Industry.

How you will do it

As a Fire & Gas Designer you will be preparing the Design Deliverables of Fire & Gas System / Fire Protection system such as Fire Detection Layouts Schematic Drawings Fire Protection Drawings Clean Agent system drawings Sprinkler & Spray System etc.

As a Fire & Gas Designer you will also be involved in attending the client technical meetings to understand the project requirements & ensure design deliverables are inline with the project specifications/requirements.

You will utilize your experience in providing the value addition to the Fire & Gas Design projects. You will be determining priorities of tasks and actions and schedule measures accordingly.

What we look for

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years F & G Design Experience in Oil & Gas Business.
• Must have excellent knowledge of AutoCad.
• Familiar with the Design of Clean Agent System Fire & Alarm System Fire & Gas System Fire Protection System Fire Hydrant Network System Foam Water Application to Hydrocarbons etc
• Must be well versed in preparing of electrical instrument and Fire and gas deliverables such as Equipment layout Lighting and small power layout Single line diagram Interconnection wiring drawings Loop drawings cable tray layout Exit Light System Typical Installation details Bill of materials cable length power calculation etc.
• Must be familiar with the development of Clean agent system Design deliverables.
• Must be familiar with the Pipe net Softwares to perform Hydraulic Calculation for Sprinkler System Yard Hydrant System Foam Sprinkler/Spray System Water Spray System etc.
• Must be familiar with the preparation of Fire Fighting Equipment Drawings includes PID GADs installation Drawings Isometrics Fabrication Drawings etc.
• Must have knowledge of Designing the High sensitivity smoke detection System.
• Well versed with the NFPA 13 NFPA 15 NFPA 16 NFPA 11 NFPA 20 NFPA 2001 NFPA 70 NFPA 72 etc.
