Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene safety and quality control in accordance with UAE regulations and Rixos brand guidelines.
Train supervise and mentor kitchen staff ensuring high levels of performance discipline and team collaboration.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B team for menu planning events and special promotions.
Control food costs by managing inventory portioning and minimizing waste.
Source premium ingredients and build strong relationships with trusted suppliers.
Ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly during service hours especially during peak times.
Handle guest feedback with professionalism and make improvements based on suggestions.
Stay current with culinary trends and integrate creative ideas to enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years experience as an Italian Chef de Cuisine or in a senior culinary role within a luxury hotel or fine dining Italian restaurant.
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized culinary school.
In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern Italian cuisine including pasta risotto antipasti and regional specialties.
Strong leadership organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
Proven ability to manage a high-volume kitchen while maintaining quality.
Sound understanding of food safety HACCP and hygiene practices.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and public holidays.
