RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES ALL TASKS):
Infrastructure Management
- Execute daily performance monitoring of Azure infrastructure including VMs AVD and network components
- Implement and maintain backup strategies ensuring data integrity and recovery readiness
- Monitor and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
- Analyze capacity trends and provide optimization recommendations
- Perform regular patch management and compliance checks.
- 24/7/365 monitoring and incident response
- VM performance monitoring (CPU Memory Disk)
- Network connectivity and latency management
- Security alerts and logs monitoring
- Azure Service Health tracking
Security Operations
- Daily security alerts monitoring
- Authentication logs review
- Endpoint protection management
- Network security rules verification
- Weekly security compliance checks and policy updates
- Lead security monitoring and incident response activities
- Manage endpoint protection and network security configurations
- Conduct regular security compliance audits and vulnerability assessments
- Maintain and update security policies and access controls
- Monitor authentication logs and suspicious activities
Network Operations
- Oversee network performance monitoring and optimization
- Network performance monitoring
- DNS resolution checks
- Private endpoint connectivity verification
- Weekly network optimization and security audits
- Manage DNS configurations and private endpoint connectivity
- Conduct network security audits and latency analysis
- Monitor bandwidth utilization and network logs
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure
- Manage AVD host pools and user sessions
- User session performance monitoring
- Host pool availability checks
- Application access verification
- Session host maintenance
- User profile analysis
- Monitor application performance and user experience metrics
- Perform session host maintenance and optimization
- Troubleshoot connectivity and access issues
Required Azure Certifications
- Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Additional Certifications
- DP-300: Azure Database Administrator Associate
