A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations on site ensuring that projects are completed on time within budget and to the specified quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders managing resources and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Site Management:
- Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure they align with project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors suppliers and other project team members.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all work is carried out to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities inspections and tests.
- Health and Safety:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety audits and address any issues promptly.
- Provide safety briefings and training to site workers.
- Technical Support:
- Interpret and execute engineering plans drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
- Resource Management:
- Manage site resources including labor materials and equipment.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to minimize waste and control costs.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure materials are available as needed.
- Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with the project manager client and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- A valid UAE Driving License
