Your Profile / Qualifications
Process/Project Engineer (Pre-Sales & Execution) will report to the Director of Service and will be responsible for the production of designs technical and commercial proposals and support of project execution (detailed designs through commissioning). He/She will also run complete small projects under supervision or jointly with senior engineers centre of competencies and/or project manager.
Key duties Pre Sales
- Liaise with sales and senior engineering team to translate the client requirements into technical solutions
- Process equipment and piping sizing
- Development of enquiry stage P&IDs
- Development of key assumptions execution plan and scope boundaries
- Costing of equipment/components supply
- Review with multiple functions enquiry documents and obtain clarifications where required.
- Support multiple functions to prepare their respective scope and costings.
- Consolidate costs and prepare an overall cost calculation
- Consolidate plans and develop an overall execution plan and timeline
- Prepare Technical and Commercial Proposals in accordance with defined scopes of supply
- Maintain Proposal documentation in line with company procedures and policies to ensure compliance with set requirements & standards.
- Reporting on day to day basis to LPT Service Director
Key duties Execution
- Support project managers and senior engineers with project activities
- Support the project manager with change control and scope variations
- Liaise with Senior Engineers to produce designs for P&IDs Equipment Lists Datasheets Process and Functional Descriptions.
- Produce requests for quotations for our sub-suppliers review and obtain clarifications where required.
- Perform suppliers bid analysis and recommend vendors to the project manager/supply chain manager.
- Review design documents with senior engineers where required.
- Take part of commissioning product and cleaning tests and initial production support.
- Maintain Project documentation in line with company procedures and policies to ensure compliance with design and QHSE standards.
- Seek support and clarification from project managers and senior engineers whenever he/she fells unsure.
This position will require extensive travelling mainly in Middle East but may occasionally be required to outside of this region worldwide.
