Role Title: Support EngineerVeritas NetBackup administration and support
Role Type: Long Term Permanent Full Time OnSite
Industry: Consultative Solutions Provider
Work Location: Dubai (Dubai Internet City) UAE
Benefits: Visa medical insurance yearly vacation ticket and End of service/gratuity
Required Certifications:
- Veritas Sales Engineer
- Veritas Sales Engineer
Requirements:
Demonstrated ability and experience in customerfacing positions as a Professional Services consultant
Strong documentation and technical writing skills
Must be able to install configure troubleshoot and administer backup and archival solutions based upon following technologies.
Must possess required vendor certifications for the same: NetBackup/NetWorker/Backup Exec/ Avamar/Data Domain/NetBackup Appliance/Enterprise Vault/SourceOne
Additional industry certifications from vendors like HP Veeam Cisco and Microsoft are an advantage.
NetBackup experience is crucial
Key experience: Veritas NetBackup administration and support
Preferred: Data Domain Enterprise Vault Avamar NetWorker
Tape Library support
Dell Avamar and Networker (data protection suite) administration and support
310 years experience
Installation experience for any of the above products is a positive
Full clean driving license
Experience working in the Gulf region
Soft skills:
Adaptable and progressive learner with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
Ability to work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent and confident communications and interpersonal skills
Proficient organizational skills
A high level of energy and enthusiasm
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Strong work ethic and willingness to prioritize work and customers when required
