Assistant Resident Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Resident Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing construction activities ensuring project quality and maintaining compliance with local regulations and safety standards.

• Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site supervision and management of construction projects
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules budgets and quality standards
• Review and interpret technical drawings specifications and contract documents
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
• Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and environmental standards
• Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports progress updates and change orders
• Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Assist in the review and approval of contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs)

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 12 years of experience in construction site supervision preferably on large-scale residential projects
