We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher (Year 3/4 Teacher) to join our team at ICS Al Danah a British Curriculum School. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering highquality teaching and learning fostering a positive and engaging classroom environment and ensuring the academic and personal development of students in Year 3/4.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Learning
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the British National Curriculum.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor assess and record student progress providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Use data effectively to plan lessons and support student progress.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity through interactive and stimulating activities.
- Integrate the use of technology to enhance learning where appropriate.
Pastoral Care and Classroom Management
- Establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
- Create a positive inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Promote the social emotional and personal development of students.
- Implement the schools behaviour and safeguarding policies effectively.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress concerns and achievements.
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues including other teachers and support staff.
- Contribute to departmental and wholeschool initiatives.
- Attend staff meetings training sessions and professional development opportunities.
- Engage in continuous professional growth and reflective practice.
Additional Responsibilities
- Take part in extracurricular activities school events and assemblies.
- Support the school s ethos values and policies.
- Carry out duties as assigned by school leadership including break and lunch duties.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Education Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE B.Ed. or equivalent).
- Minimum 2/3 years experience teaching in a British Curriculum school is preferred.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 23 years of teaching experience in a primary/elementary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of primary education best practices and child development.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Experience teaching in an international or UAEbased school (preferred).
