About the role

BLR WORLD is hiring an Account Manager to oversee Museum Educators staffing services for the Zayed National Museum (ZNM). This role ensures outstanding educational and interpretative visitor experiences while maintaining a collaborative relationship with ZNM management. The Account Manager will be based in the UAE and serve as the primary liaison between BLR WORLD and the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT) meeting regularly with the Interpretation Unit leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and Coordinate Museum Educators Staffing Services:

  • Oversee a team of 24 Museum Educators responsible for delivering tours workshops and live interpretation across museum spaces.
  • Ensure Museum Educators engage diverse audiences including the general public students from schools and universities..
  • Manage shifts and rosters to cover all opening hours up to 365 days a year.
  • Staffing requirements per shift:

Museum Educator Training Manager (1 per shift)

Museum Educator (10 per shift) UAE Nationals required.

  • Recruitment expected in Q2 2025 with a starting date of June 2025.

  • Museum opening hours: 10am to 8pm 7 days a week (Public); schools arrive at 9am.

  • Public Tours: 10:30am 3pm 4pm 7:30pm

  • School Tours & Workshops: 9am 12pm

  • Public Workshops: 2pm 7:30pm

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for ZNM and DCT ensuring satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Interpretation Unit Head to review operations and improvements.
  • Maintain proactive communication with ZNM management to address challenges.

Account Management and Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll data submission.

  • Provide reports on staffing performance attendance visitor feedback and operational outcomes.
  • Report daily weekly monthly and annually on staff performance and satisfaction.
  • Conduct weekly onsite meetings at ZNM for the first 3 months; frequency may reduce thereafter.
  • Work closely with the BLR WORLD team to exceed ZNMs museum education expectations.

Staff Development

  • Oversee Museum Educators performance and professional growth.

  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to assess and address training needs.
  • Foster a professional inclusive and engaging team culture.

Performance Monitoring and Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for Museum Educators.
  • Implement continuous improvements based on visitor feedback and operational data.

Compliance & Administration:

  • Ensure operations comply with ZNM policies safety standards and cultural sensitivities.
  • Maintain accurate records of staffing schedules training and performance evaluations.
  • Compiling reports for the client and internally on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Museum Studies Education Business Management Hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience in account management project management museum education or cultural program operations.
  • Experience working in the UAE or familiarity with local cultural practices.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic are essential

Hard Skills

  • Expertise in staff scheduling and rostering resource allocation and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of museum education and visitor engagement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce management software.

  • Experience in educator training and development.
