Senior Systems Administrator (SDDC/Cloud)
Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator
Location: Abu Dhabi
Experience: 10 years
What are we looking for
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator with a deep understanding of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies hyperscalers virtualization and cloud infrastructure management. This role will involve overseeing the design implementation and management of systems infrastructure including storage backup and virtualization in a hybrid or multicloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain SDDC including VMware HyperV and other virtualized environments.
- Administer and manage hybrid or multicloud infrastructures including public clouds like AWS Azure Google Cloud.
- Implement and support infrastructure systems including networking servers storage and backup systems.
- Configure monitor and troubleshoot cloudbased systems and infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for performance reliability and security in cloud and onpremise systems.
- Provide technical support for all aspects of systems infrastructure management including storage backup networking and security.
- Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience with VMware and virtualization technologies.
- Expertise in SDDC Hyperscalers and cloud platforms (AWS Azure etc.).
- Experience in Storage and Backup management.
- Advanced knowledge of network protocols systems monitoring and IT automation.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Bash).
- Expertise in systems performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of system security access management and disaster recovery plans.
Relevant Certifications:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- CompTIA Cloud.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
