Senior QAQC - Civil

• Oversee and manage the quality assurance and quality control processes for civil construction projects.
  
• Develop implement and enforce quality management plans and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
  
• Ensure that all materials used onsite meet the required specifications and standards including verifying material certifications and conducting material inspections as necessary.
  
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of finished work to ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications with a strong focus on civil finishes
  
• Coordinate with project teams including contractors subcontractors and designers to ensure quality control throughout the construction phases.
  
• Review and approve work processes and techniques related to civil finishes including surface preparation application methods and finishing techniques.
  
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions where defects or deviations from quality standards are identified.
  
• Prepare and submit detailed quality reports including inspection findings corrective actions and quality assessments to project management.
  
• Provide guidance and training to project staff on quality assurance processes quality control procedures and best practices for civil finishing work.
  
• Ensure that all safety and environmental standards are maintained in the execution of all quality control activities.
  
• Resolve any qualityrelated issues or disputes with subcontractors suppliers or project teams.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field.
  
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction industry
  
• Proven experience (X years) in QA/QC management in civil construction with specific experience in overseeing civil finishing works.
  
• Indepth knowledge of quality control systems construction standards and industry regulations.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  
• Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
  
• Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
  
• Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g. ISO 9001 Six Sigma) are a plus.
  
• Familiarity with health safety and environmental regulations related to civil construction projects.
