Junior Cost Manager Associate Level 5-15 years experience in Cost Optimization projects United Arab Emirates

• Client > Management Consulting Company in the need to staff multiple projects with Clients focusing on Procurement activities and Supplier management

• Role purpose > The Cost Management Associate will be part of the highimpact cost management initiatives for a key client in the power sector. The Candidate would perform similar core tasks as those in other industries but with a focus on the specifics of power generation transmission distribution or renewable energy projects. The complexity and scale of projects in this sector can involve significant capital expenditure regulatory considerations and longterm project timelines requiring robust cost management to ensure financial control The ideal candidate has 515 years of experience has already taken few years in Consulting and provides a good knowledge of Power sector (useful not mandatory)

• Main Tasks > Assist in preparing cost estimates for power plant construction maintenance and operational projects; Track project expenses across multiple phases (design construction operation); Monitor costs associated with energy generation assets (power plants solar farms wind farms etc.) and track operational efficiency to ensure the project stays within budget; Help with procurement processes including obtaining quotes and bids from suppliers for equipment and services (e.g. turbines transformers electrical systems); Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors ensuring that the power company gets value for money while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards; Identify and assist in managing financial risks related to energy market fluctuations changes in regulations and operational inefficiencies; Collaborate with senior cost managers to help develop cost contingency plans for unexpected changes in fuel prices regulatory changes or project delays; Help prepare cost reports for senior management regulatory bodies or clients covering project status financial performance and budget adherence.

• Requisites > Bachelor’s degree in Finance Economics Engineering Business or a related field (mandatory). Consulting attitude; Range 5 – 15 years of experience in cost management with a proven track record in the power and utilities sector. Handson experience managing multiple cost optimization projects with demonstrated success in delivering results in complex operational environments; Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required. Advanced proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and financial modelling tools.

• Workload/Location> Fulltime Abu Dhabi on ground

• Startdate > Immediate need > the Candidate needs to give availability within 1520 days after Engagement Confirmation Letter
