Drive a variety of light and heavyduty vehicles in field and other locations to transport load and offload various items of equipment machinery components and pipes as required in line with road safety policies and procedures.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
- Operate buses heavy trucks loaders and any other heavy equipment. Load or assist in loading trucks or other vehicles with materials to be transported to various locations.
- Follow hand signals and verbal instructions in loading and positioning materials ensuring that loads are safely secured and balanced before embarking on journeys.
- Drive employee buses as required to transport passengers to and from various locations ensuring the safety and security of passengers and the proper care and operation of the vehicle.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they are kept in good operating condition. Observe scheduled maintenance requirements and take vehicles to workshops for servicing as needed. Report any vehicle damage or malfunction to supervisors.
- Drive and maintain vehicles in a professional conscientious and safe manner obeying local road traffic laws.
- Observe safety regulations concerning vehicles and specific site conditions. Obtain work permits to enter restricted areas.
- Keep vehicles clean inside and out at all times and ensure company stickers or identification are visible.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned including reporting accidents involving the driver or the vehicle to the supervisor preparing written incident reports and ensuring that registration and insurance documents are valid at all times.

- Provide onthejob training to meet competencybased training programs for nationalization initiatives.

- Identify areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in operating procedures and functional processes.
Health Safety Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
- Comply with relevant HSE policies procedures and applicable legislation in line with international standards and best practices.
- Participate as a team member in emergency response duties.
Housekeeping
- Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before and during operations in line with established hygiene and housekeeping standards.
Reports
- Provide inputs for preparing section progress reports for management.
- Prepare various Key Performance Indicator (KPI) checklists for management.
Internal Communications & Working Relationships
- Coordinate with line managers peers and other employees as required.
External Communications & Working Relationships
- Liaise with external parties including consultants thirdparty service providers and government agencies as required.
Minimum Qualification
- Completion of Primary Education.
