We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer to join our team for a detailed engineering phase of an onshore oil and gas project. The successful candidate will work on designing analyzing and optimizing pipeline systems ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed engineering for onshore pipeline systems including routing stress analysis and material selection.
- Develop pipeline design deliverables such as alignment sheets pipeline isometrics and piping class specifications.
- Conduct hydraulic and flow assurance studies to ensure optimal pipeline performance.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes standards (e.g. ASME API) and project specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil mechanical process) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review vendor documents technical drawings and ensure compatibility with project requirements.
- Provide technical support during procurement fabrication and construction stages.
- Conduct risk assessments and participate in HAZID/HAZOP reviews to ensure safety in pipeline designs.
- Monitor and address technical issues promptly to minimize project delays.
- Prepare and review project documentation including technical reports and procedures.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 510 years of experience in pipeline engineering for largescale onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of detailed engineering processes and pipeline design tools such as CAESAR II AutoPIPE or equivalent.
- Proficiency in industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME B31.4 ASME B31.8 API 5L).
- Experience with pipeline construction materials and stress analysis.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work in a teamoriented environment.
