PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To manage and oversee the procurement of static mechanical equipment for oil and gas EPC projects ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements. The role involves leading the procurement process coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely and costeffective acquisition of highquality equipment to meet project goals.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the procurement of static mechanical equipment such as pressure vessels heat exchangers columns tanks and other related items for oil and gas projects.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review technical specifications and ensure accurate procurement documentation.
- Prepare and issue RFQs evaluate technical and commercial bids and negotiate terms with vendors.
- Manage vendor prequalification and maintain compliance with ADNOCapproved vendor lists.
- Monitor and expedite the delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules addressing any delays or issues.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC standards project specifications and quality requirements throughout the procurement process.
- Coordinate inspections factory acceptance tests (FATs) and quality control activities for procured equipment.
- Maintain procurement records generate reports and provide updates to project teams and senior management.
- Address any procurementrelated challenges to ensure seamless project execution.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1015 years of experience in procurement for oil and gas EPC projects with a strong focus on static mechanical equipment.
- Mandatory experience with ADNOC projects and familiarity with their standards and requirements.
- Excellent understanding of static mechanical equipment specifications sourcing and vendor management.
- Strong negotiation communication and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Must be immediately available to join.
