Junior Veterinary Dubai

REAP is partnering with a leading veterinary clinic in Dubai to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Junior Veterinarian. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an earlycareer veterinarian to join a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in providing exceptional care to animals. You will work under the supervision of senior veterinarians diagnosing treating and preventing medical conditions in a range of species including pets livestock and exotic animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Examinations & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical exams interpret lab results and diagnose animal conditions accurately.
  
• Treatment & Procedures: Assist in administering treatments surgeries vaccinations and emergency care to animals as directed by senior veterinary staff.
  
• Animal Health Monitoring: Monitor and record patients health conditions and provide updates to clients.
  
• Client Communication: Educate pet owners on preventive care treatments and medication usage and provide advice on animal health.
  
• Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records for each animal documenting examination findings treatments and followup care.
  
• Emergency Response: Provide support during emergency procedures and assist senior veterinarians in critical care cases.
  
• Laboratory Tests: Perform laboratory diagnostic tests such as blood work urine tests and other routine examinations.
  
• Preventive Health Care: Advise clients on preventive health strategies for pets including vaccination schedules and parasite control.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent).
  
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of veterinary practice or internship experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply).
  
• Licensing: Must be licensed or eligible to practice as a veterinarian in Dubai (or able to obtain a local license).
  
• Skills:
  
  • Strong knowledge of animal anatomy physiology and common diseases.
    
  • Proficiency in clinical procedures diagnostics and treatments.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
    
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Specialization or interest in specific areas such as surgery dentistry or exotic animals.
  
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is an advantage but not essential.
