الوصف الوظيفي
- Ensures timely production of the annual budget and forecast.
- Maintains and enforces Accounting Standards.
- Ensures the accounting operations especially the control system transactions and processing operations.
- Coordinates accounting functions and programs.
- Prepares financial analysis and reports.
- Prepares revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assists in in preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintains and reconciles balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assists with annual audit preparations.
- Investigates and resolves audit findings account discrepancies and issues of noncompliance.
- Prepares tax returns in required jurisdictions.
- Contributes to the development of new or amended accounting systems programs and procedures.
- Performs other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
- Issues timely and accurate financial statements including KPIs.
- Coordinates the preparation of the entities reports.
- Analyzes variances from the budget and reports significant issues to management.
- Provides for a stem of management expenses reports.
- Provides financial legal and tax analyses as needed for capital investments.
- Coordinates and provides the required information to the Internal and external auditors.
- Monitors Debt levels and compliance with debt covenants.
- Complies with local government requirements and tax filings deadlines (Transfer pricing withholding tax ).
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting. MBA or professional certifications are a plus (CPA CA..).
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in similar position.
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements.
- Good Knowledge in accounting standards and GAAP.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
- Detail oriented.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be based in Dubai and have a solid understanding of the financial and tax regulations in the UAE.
