Finance Assistant - Zahr Freighters

In this role you will support the finance department with daytoday operations ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and assisting with various administrative and financial tasks. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial reports statements and budgets.
• Process invoices payments and expense reimbursements.
• Maintain and update financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and managing accounts payable/receivable.
• Support the finance team in payroll processing and tax filings.
• Track and record all financial transactions using accounting software.
• Help prepare and maintain financial documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist in monitoring company expenses and budget adherence.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• 12 years of experience in finance or accounting support roles.
• Strong understanding of financial processes and bookkeeping.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling financial information.
