الوصف الوظيفي

The Procurement Officer for a Building Maintenance Company is responsible for sourcing negotiating and managing the procurement of materials and services required for building maintenance. This role ensures timely delivery costefficiency and quality compliance in line with project specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier and Vendor Management:

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and vendors for building materials and Maintenance services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality reliability and competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate contracts terms and conditions to achieve the best value for the company.

Procurement Planning and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the requirements of building maintenance
  • Coordinate with facility management to understand maintenance needs and timelines.

Purchasing and Order Management:

  • Process purchase orders for materials and services ensuring adherence to project schedules.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues related to procurement.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that procured materials and services meet quality standards and specifications.

Cost Management:

  • Manage procurement budgets and identify costsaving opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities contracts and supplier communications.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and legal requirements.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance including cost analyses supplier performance and maintenance status.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration
  • Two years experience in procurement of building Materials (MEP).
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of materials services relevant to building maintenance.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Work Environment:

  • Officebased role with potential site.
  • Fulltime position with standard working hours though flexibility may be required based on project needs.

Job Type: Fulltime

Pay: Up to AED5000.00 per month
