Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Graphic Designer to join our team!
What Youll Be Doing:
- Design and prepare moderatelycomplex artworks and copy layouts applying established standards and formats from the Companys or Clients style manuals or Branding Guidelines.
- Work directly with the Project Managers Designers Technical Writers/Editors and/or the authors/requestors to review artwork text and other materials submitted for inclusion in assigned documents.
- Recommend improvements for accuracy of expression clarity and consistency with Company or Clients styles.
- Design and produces reproductionready visual graphics including newsletters brochures flyers slides charts plots diagrams tables sketches isometrics viewgraphs posters signs and certificates.
- Modify existing artwork as required.
- Serve as part of a functional team to complete assignments according to schedule.
What Required Skills Youll Bring:
- Associates or equivalent degree in Graphic Design or certificate of completion from an accredited design/graphics course (or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design
- Proven ability to visually depict accurate information and project concepts when developing graphics and creating presentations (send portfolio together with your resume)
- Technical competence in software such as Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop Illustrator InDesign Dreamweaver Acrobat AfterEffects and Microsoft.
