Director - Solar Projects

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Solar Projects to lead our solar division and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar project management and a proven track record of successfully delivering largescale solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the companys overall solar project strategy in line with business objectives and market trends
• Lead and manage a team of project managers engineers and technicians to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of solar projects
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from design and planning to installation and commissioning
• Conduct site visits and assessments to determine project feasibility and identify potential risks
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop project proposals budgets and timelines
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality safety and environmental standards
• Build and maintain relationships with clients suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Keep uptodate with industry developments regulations and best practices to continuously improve project delivery and stay ahead of competitors
• Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on project performance budget and forecasts.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Renewable Energy or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solar project management with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successfully delivering largescale solar projects preferably in the Middle East region
• Strong technical knowledge of solar systems and components as well as relevant regulations and standards
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in budgeting forecasting and cost control
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
• Fluency in English both written and verbal. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
