Senior HVAC Design Engineer Pharmaceutical Data Centers Mission Critical - GHD

• Educational Background: A bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering.
• Professional experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Mechanical engineering with a focus on designing HVAC for various applications and a Proven track record of successfully completed HVAC engineering projects.
• BMS experience is a must.
• Proficiency in HVAC modeling software and tools including Revit Autocad IES & HAP.
• Experience in Life Sciences including pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities.
• Experienced in delivering HVAC design. Producing ventilation system design deliverables i.e. Ventilation Flow Diagrams (VFDs) Basis of Design (BoD) Plant Sizing Calculations (Heating / Cooling / Fan Sizing) Control Philosophy.
• Indepth knowledge of fluid mechanics pipe flow pump selection and chilled water system design.
• Knowledge of local and international codes and standards related to HVAC engineering.
• Experience ensuring projects comply with relevant regulations and permitting requirements.
• Report writing expertise.
• Commercially Aware: Demonstrates working knowledge of external forces impacting GHD; financial market economic legal and regulatory environments and how GHD responds to them commercially.
