Charge Nurse

Responsibilities • Coordinate and oversee patient care delivery within a designated unit or department. • Assign and delegate tasks to nursing staff based on patient needs and staff competency. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and protocols. • Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers. • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in decision-making and problem-solving. • Conduct regular rounds to assess patient status and address any issues or concerns. • Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing care provided. • Act as a resource for patients, families, and staff regarding medical information and treatment options. • Assist in training and mentorship of new nursing staff.
