Job Overview

As a Product Owner at Emirates NBD your role is to

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for mobile onboarding journeys.
  • Ensure the onboarding process is aligned with best practices in mobile UX design.
  • Partner with development teams to deliver highquality product increments.
  • Participate in sprint planning daily standups and retrospectives.
  • Ensure clear communication of requirements and priorities to development teams.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for onboarding success.
  • Implement A/B testing and other methodologies to optimize the onboarding process.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback business value and market trends.
  • Create manage and prioritize the product backlog for mobile onboarding journeys
  • Write clear actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the backlog reflects current priorities and business objectives.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging onboarding experiences.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of bachelors degree preferably in business studies or technology.
  • In depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Minimum 5 to10 years of experience in agile delivery & mobile app development including onboarding journeys and User Experience (UX) Design
  • Experience of working in financial institutions
