Accountant - WizzFinancial

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role will report directly to the Finance Manager/Head of Accounting and is integral to the financial operations of Wizz Financial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Manager with various accounting and finance tasks.
• Evaluate the financial performance and objectives of the business.
• Provide financial and strategic insights to support the growth plans of the organization.
• Manage the implementation of systems process improvements and automation of processes.
• Work with state regulators to ensure compliance and support the registration process in new states as per the companys strategic plan.
• Prepare reliable current and forecasted financial reports.
• Provide financial planning modeling and analysis.
• Manage cash flows and perform effective cash and working capital management.
• Support company audits and ensure legal compliance in all financial functions.
• Manage relationships with banks and vendors.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with proven experience as an accountant.
• Experience in a large crossborder funds movement environment.
• Successful track record in creating and setting up multicurrency financials.
• Indepth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
• Strong liquidity and working capital management skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical skills.
• Willingness to take responsibility show initiative and work effectively within a dynamic team.
• Relevant BA degree and/or CPA certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
