Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Conduct scoping and feasibility reviews for mechanical systems including piping systems rotating equipment burners and boilers.
• Review and evaluate mechanical designs to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants such as API and ASME codes.
• Provide technical expertise during design reviews offering recommendations for optimization and improvement.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate mechanical systems with other project components and ensure seamless operation.
• Supervise construction activities including the installation commissioning and testing of mechanical systems ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct periodic site inspections coordinate with contractors and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
• Participate in project meetings to monitor progress address constructionrelated challenges and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Around 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on scoping design review and construction supervision.
• Experience in brownfield projects and relevant industrial processes
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards for hazardous waste incineration plants.
• Excellent communication leadership and problemsolving skills.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
