Project Manager Paper Corrugration

Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading corrugrated packaging manufacturer in the UAE. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to oversee the installation startup and management of converting facilities at their factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the corrugated packaging industry with extensive experience in installing and operating Martin and BOBST machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Manage the seamless relocation installation and startup of the machine fleet and auxiliary equipment including Martin 924 Martin DRO 1628 Emba 170 Bobst 160 vision strapping and wrapping line waste handling system forklift fleet and loading station.

Coordinate with the purchase department to procure consumables tools and equipment.

Recruit train and manage a dedicated team of operators and helpers.

Ensure the timely and efficient completion of the project within budget and scope.

Operations Management:

Optimize converting operations to achieve maximum productivity and product quality.

Implement and maintain quality control standards including ISO and HACCP certifications.

Analyze production data and generate regular reports on performance metrics.

Manage customer test runs and address customer complaints.

Minimize waste generation and implement effective waste management practices.

Technical Expertise:

Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across

Possess indepth knowledge of corrugators converting machines printing techniques die cutting and related equipment.

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the corrugated packaging industry.

Proven track record in managing largescale equipment installation and startup / greenfield projects.

Handson experience with Martin 924 Martin DRO 1628 Emba 170 Bobst 160 vision strapping and wrapping line waste handling system forklift fleet and loading station is mandatory.

Indepth knowledge in corrugators preferably BHS converting machines printing technique flat bed and rotary die cutting automatic pallet strapping starching lines steam boilers air conditioning internal transport equipment conveyor systems and lift trucks.

Proficiency in MS Project or similar project management software.
Strong project management skills problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.

Fluency in English with French language skills preferred.
