Senior Electrical Technician

Responsibilities: • Provides work direction for a crew of 6-10 craftsmen, ensuring quality control and productivity. Reviews work requests to plan assignments and determine material and tool requirements. • Requests materials, tools, and equipment through the SAMS system or Maintenance Planner. Performs administrative duties as Group Head, including report writing and record-keeping of welding work. • Offers technical advice to lower craftsmen, operations, and maintenance for planning T&Is or large fabrication projects. Ensures adherence to safe welding procedures and company standards. • Conducts on-the-job training and mentoring for lower qualified craftsmen, maintaining records of training accomplishments.
