Cake Designer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their cake design requirements and preferences
• Create cake designs that align with client specifications, taking into consideration theme, color scheme, and overall style
• Utilize a range of decorating techniques, such as piping, sculpting, and fondant work, to bring cake designs to life
• Prepare and bake cake layers and fillings according to recipes and customer preferences
• Decorate cakes with icing, frosting, and various decorative elements, ensuring precision and attention to detail
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in cake design
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and maintaining cake decorating tools and equipment
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cake Designer or similar role
• Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent knowledge of various decorating techniques and tools
• Proficient in cake baking and decorating techniques
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
