Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting financial analysis and regulatory compliance with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage monthend and yearend closing processes.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff.
• Assist in budgeting and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. A professional certification such as CPA CA or ACCA is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 57 years of accounting experience with at least 3 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP Oracle QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical problemsolving and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in specific industry relevant to your company.
• Knowledge of UAE tax laws and regulations.
• Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
