NES Fircroft are delighted to be supporting a Independent Oil & Gas giant who are looking for Process Engineering support to join their team working on a major LNG project based from their offices in Dubai, U.A.E.
The role will be contract based and will be for an initial 2-3 year duration to support an ongoing development in Africa.
Role will require a candidate to have extensive LNG project experience and be based in Dubai full time. In return candidates can expect a strong day rate and the opportunity to work for a forward thinking international energy client.
About Role
The role of LNG Process engineer includes the following aspects:
- Perform HYSIS Simulations including gas pre-treatment (AGRU, dehydration), liquefaction, boil-off-gas
- Perform Equipment sizing / development of process documentation such as PFD, PSD, MSD, P&IDs datasheets
- Participate in process and project workshops: HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model review, etc.
- Support procurement of process packages : bid evaluations, vendor documents review (during bid phase and during execution), fabrication follow-up
- Attend FAT/SAT
- Support during construction and pre-commissioning. Address site queries
- Assist for site commissioning and start-up as required.
Requirements / Skills and Experience :
- Graduate Engineer (ideally process/chemical engineering)
- English speaking. French will be highly appreciated
- 5-8 years experience
- Experience in Oil&Gas or Process engineering company, Contrator/EPC or Oil&Gas operator
- Experience in Basic and Detailed Design, Vendor Follow Up, Construction Preparation for large project. Experience in precommissioning, commissioning & troubleshooting is a plus
- Experience on past LNG / FLNG project or other Cryogenic system is a must
- Team player – Proactive - Good problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent written and presentation skills.
