Roofer

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain different roofing systems, including asphalt, metal, tile, and flat roofs.
• Conduct roof evaluations and assessments to identify any damage or potential risks.
• Measure and cut roofing materials accurately and efficiently.
• Remove old roofing materials and dispose of them properly.
• Perform necessary repairs, such as replacing damaged shingles or tiles.
• Apply waterproofing materials to roofs to prevent leaks and water damage.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specific timeframes.
• Ensure job sites are kept clean and organized at all times.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while working on roofs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Roofer.
• In-depth knowledge of various roofing systems, materials, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in using roofing tools and equipment.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
• OSHA certification is preferred but not required.
