Job Description

Reporting to the Site Services Manager this position requires someone who understands the formwork and scaffolding assembly and is trained to instruct/guide workers on the correct way of assembly of Doka systems. Your role Read on!

Your responsibilities

• Provide onsite instruction (professional briefing and training) to contractors during the initial assembly of Doka system formwork
• Inspect formwork installation on site according to Doka standards of usage and safety
• Act as a liaison between job site and Project Manager/Coordinator to monitor correct use of equipment at jobsite
• Ensure that the customer/client use the safe and correct applications of Doka system formwork via toolbox talks and sitewalk thrus
• Troubleshoot technical problems at jobsite and execute formwork solutions
• Attend site meetings with customer/clients
• Provide instruction for proper storage and transport of material
• Issue Site Inspection Certificate according to evaluation of installation of formwork
• Provide constructive feedback to site services office and technical department for best practice and improvements
• Proper documentation of site observations such as safety hazards/incidents material misuse in coordination with Site services office

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary or equivalent qualification in a Technical/Civil Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years experience in system formwork/scaffolding on site
• Experience with Doka systems highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and also as a team player in a resultsdriven fastpaced environment
• Handson mentality and engaged personality confident attitude

• Organisational skills
• Flexibility in schedule location and timings
• Good English language skills Arabic is an advantage
• Knowledge of highrise construction methods and climbing formwork systems a significant advantage
