Requirements
Must be proficient in the use and maintenance of power tools used to perform scaling and removal of protective coating and non-skid such as needle guns, chippers, grinders, sanders, jatos and descos.
Removing dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces.
Operating sandblasting equipment, Set-up/blast with sand, shot or grit
Applying and removing non-skid materials as needed.
Perform timed traverse or repeat adjustments of turntable movements (forward, swivel, and reverse) on large complex metal or nonmetal assemblies.
Interpret sandblasting related work orders to plan materials, tools, and techniques needed for completion of work.
