Pathologist

Key Responsibilities

• Examine patient tissue samples to identify and diagnose diseases
• Perform autopsies to determine cause of death
• Conduct laboratory tests, use microscopes, and other equipment to analyze samples
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review test results and provide recommendations for treatment
• Interpret and analyze laboratory reports to accurately diagnose diseases and conditions
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with latest findings and techniques in the field of pathology
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the laboratory
• Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in pathology
• Valid medical license to practice
• 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development
